Old Town Hall is Home to The Brecksville Theatre

The Brecksville Theatre's stage resides in Brecksville's historic Old Town Hall. We offer wheelchair seating in our front row and any end seat can also be removed for wheelchair accessibility. Our elevator can be accessed from the lower level under the stone arch. This level is where you will find our restrooms and a small gathering room. The elevator will take you to the second level where the box office and main theatre entrance are. Our balcony does not have elevator access. Handicap parking is available on the square and in the lot adjacent to the Old Town Hall. Patrons with mobility concerns may also be dropped off in front of the theatre.

ABOUT THE BRECKSVILLE THEATRE

Less than ten Brecksville residents, with a common love of theatre and their community, laid the foundation in 1941 for today’s organization. Since then we have made our home, through the generosity of the Brecksville City governance, in the Old Town Hall, a historic building on the town square. The building has been completely renovated as a theatrical facility with state-of-the art lighting and sound. We have presented more than 200 plays and musicals, countless revues and skits and participated in numerous community events. We have an ever popular Summer Youth Theatre Program, for any child who wishes to gain the experience of live theatre. We are a not-for-profit organization that depends upon our dedicated volunteers who give limitless hours of their time, effort and above all, heart. We are fortunate to count among our members people from all walks of life, all striving to present the best in community theatre. People have always been the key to our success.

The Old Town Hall was built in 1874.
